COMMITMENT AND SOLIDARITY

The social responsibility of the Dähler family

The Dähler family never experienced the stigma of feeling like foreigners in distant lands. In every country they lived in, they were warmly welcomed and became part of the local community. In their veins flows an intangible mix of Ivorian, Swiss, and Costa Rican heritage, and they proudly carry the legacy of each place. That's why they are committed to giving back the generosity of those who opened their doors to them, participating in various social responsibility projects in areas such as environmental conservation, social assistance, education, and health.

Costa Rica is an example of harmonious coexistence between nature and sustainable utilization, which is why the family actively supports organizations dedicated to environmental conservation and the protection of endangered species. They firmly believe that nature and humans can coexist in balance. They sponsor various non-profit organizations responsible for preserving the environment and wildlife.

Support for the Corcovado Foundation, dedicated to the conservation and protection of sea turtles nesting on the coasts of Costa Rica.

Support for the rescue and sanctuary center Las Pumas, responsible for rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife in situations of risk.

Support for Raising Coral Costa Rica, an organization dedicated to restoring Costa Rican reefs to maintain the health of this ecosystem and promote its balance.

Seedballs: Reforestation project for the tropical rainforests of Ivory Coast using biochar-coated balls containing various seeds.

In the face of the challenges of the pandemic, the Dähler family took urgent measures, forming a dedicated team for food donations, conveying a message of solidarity and generosity in a time of uncertainty.

Inspired by the support received over the years, the Dähler family is dedicated to various social projects:

Mobile Clinic Tiassalé, a mobile clinic that travels to remote sites to proactively address potential complications for pregnant women.

Freddy Plantation supports people in learning about resources, reforestation, and provides training for farmers, carpenters, and masons.
