Stéphane, our charismatic founder and jack-of-all-trades, is the heart and soul of Swiss Tropical Tourism. Born in Africa, educated in Switzerland, and at home in Costa Rica, he combines the best of three worlds. As a passionate storyteller, he takes you on a journey through his fascinating family history and shares his enthusiasm for agrotourism and sustainable agriculture.
He founded Swiss Tropical Tourism in 2011 with a great deal of passion and a pioneering spirit and has been managing the company with tireless dedication ever since. Whether on the pineapple fields, the cocoa plantations, or at social projects – Stéphane is everywhere at the same time and puts his contagious enthusiasm into everything he tackles. With his attention to detail and his warm manner, he ensures that every guest feels at home with us. With Stéphane, you don’t feel like a tourist, but like a part of the family.
